Ben Magnuson is an actor and musician based out of Chicago. As an actor he has performed on Broadway and all across this country. As a singer and musician he has played in venues as varied as San Francisco’s Plush Room to New York’s Bowery Ballroom and from The Boston Opera House to The Pantages in Los Angeles. His newest album Old Songs with The Fret Knots is our second design collaboration.
Sean Hagerty is a sound designer, violinist, and composer specializing in live electronics and music for theater and dance. Projects include sound and music for The Grand Paradise, Steampunk Haunted House (2011), Then She Fell, Roadside Attraction, House 17, and Midnight Madness (Third Rail Projects), Around the World in 80 Days (Davenport Theater, Theatre Squared, Florida Rep, Hangar Theatre), Anthem the Musical (Lynn Redgrave Theater), 4 Chambers (A@R), The Fall to Earth (59 E 59), and Hound of the Baskervilles (Penguin Rep, Weston Playhouse). Interactive projects include performances at Le Poisson Rouge, Webster Hall, Hudson Opera, Harvestworks, and Issue Project Room.
Benjamin and Emily fell in love while touring on the Les Misérables musical. For their Save the Date cards, they wanted a logo in place of a photograph of themselves. We went with a B&E monogram with an Art Deco feel. Their wedding monogram became a special touch of personalization for all their wedding accessories.
